My latest version!... Every since I discovered Peter Ward's work in "Under a Green Sky" I've pondered what will become of us with dying oceans? It's a 100 degrees in the bay area and the west coast is in flames...so I wrote this song...

Emotional stories of where we are, what's at stake, and where we're headed... This IS the MOMENT people... when our species will either Stand UP... or perish...
I'm a fellow human on planet earth who feels music touches the soul... spirit... the emotional chord... deep within us. We are at a critical moment... The Nexus point... How we respond will determine whether we will continue

Story behind the song
We are replicating the conditions which resulted in "The Great Dying" and will not survive a hydrogen sulfide toxic atmosphere... it is time we get serious... As I fall in love with guitar again... what else can one do on a 100 degree day in the bay... "The oceans are everything that makes it all go... and the collapsing web of life beneath acidified waters...." moves into a metal mania back to acoustic...
Lyrics
That the oceans are everything that makes it all go And the collapsing web of life beneath acidified waters From our dumping toxins, carbon overloading the machine Destroying ocean ecosystems making them green... and deadly If we take the time if we shift direction if we put in the effort to reengineer our lives if we come together now that we realize... capture the sun right before our eyes... put our current toys away (must stop it) shut the carbon down (must stop it) substitute the solar gifts that endlessly abound...yea we must stop it on a global scale, we must come together on a global scale... cause we ain't no more time, I know you feel the nasty weather... we must come together there's no more time no time no time
