A personal experience is what motivated me to write the words to this...when it came time to record it, I couldnt think of anyone better to sing it than my good friend Bret Douglas who came up with the perfect melody line for it. This is really my first "lyrical" song & I'm very happy with the results. The song is basically depicting a moment in one's life where some basic awareness has been attained....a musical snapshot of a few hours where things were clear & right from the heart....the feeling of waking up from a crazy dream...
