I think I'll dig in for the Winter
I'm not comin' out til' its' warm.
Looking out my window makes me shiver
Waiting for spring time to come.
Slipping and sliding on the back roads
How did I find myself here?
Get me out of this winter freeze.
I'll just pretend I'm on a warm beach
Drinking up beers in the sun.
Then I wake up and see the gray skies
That's when reality comes.
All the leaves have left
Along with the birds and the bees.
Get me out of this winter freeze
You and me know things will get better
You and me can ride out funky weather
Howlin' winds, creaking things,
screen doors slammin' - in the middle of the night.
I think I need a tropical vacation
I'll find a warm place in the sun.
I'd like to fly south of the equator
Rio de Janeiro type fun.
Instead I'm sitting here warming my bones by the fire.
Take me out of this winter please
I'm asking you what can you do to help us
Please- as I'm frozen here my teeth begin to chatter

Icy mess, I'm in distress. Its frozen all around me
Can't go out.I'm frozen stiff. I sit and pout. Thats' exactly how you'll find me.
