I like the music of the late 60's and early 70's. To me they were times of creativity when it came to guitar playing and arrangements with different instruments

Story behind the song
In my earlier days my Father-in-Law brought me to a place where they had Dixie Land music as it was called back then. I was really impressed how the horns just played up and down the scales and blended so nicely forming rich melodies that just made your toes tap. I never really forgot that night musically. This song when I was experimenting with it just seemed to start echoing like what I heard back then. So I just continued on that course and this is what it came out to be. The message: Jesus Is Lord! Do we really believe this when we confess this? Many times we have our own ideas and we ask God to bless it. We must be careful not to start an Ishmael. Abraham received a promise from God and it was accounted to him as righteousness because he believed God, (Amen) but it was to come in the fullness of time. The author and finisher of his faith was working with him. The creator of all things, the eternal one who never had a beginning or will never have an end did not need Abrams striving help to bring about the promise that was promised. He just needed Abraham to be a co-labor, but because of no further word from the Lord coming to him he took matters into his own hands and Ishmael was born. Well it seemed Abraham was happy for awhile until the word of the Lord came to him again. Dont we wonder why the Lord does not bless our own endeavors? In this song I just finished, it speaks of standing still and hearing God. God does have a plan for our life but we must learn to be co-labors with Him. We really dont need to do things for God we need to do things with God. For it is written in Ephesians 2:10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
